Gary Hansen
Owner/Sales
Gary has been involved in the home remodeling industry for over 45 years and has developed many long-lasting and trusting relationships with his returning customers. His father, Doug, started Hansen Hometech and Gary has continued the family tradition of taking care of customers and creating memorable spaces for his clients. Gary likes to actively engage with each homeowner and listen to their ideas to help create a perfect space for their family.
Gary spends his free time with his family and grandkids. He also enjoys sailing, pheasant hunting with his dog, and making delicious honey or maple syrup to share.
Corey Jackson
Lead Carpenter/ Project Manager
Corey started out as a laborer with Hansen Hometech over 25 years ago. After a few years working on his own, Corey returned to Hansen in 2020. He has established himself as a finish carpenter and specializes in cabinet installations, specialty decorative trim and problem solving. Homeowner’s love Corey’s attention to detail, great communication and friendly demeaner as he serves as a lead contact for their project. Corey also serves as our dedicated Lead Abatement crew member and continues to stay up to date on current codes and regulations.
Corey likes to be involved in his children’s school and sports activities and spends his free weekends taking them hunting and fishing. Look for Corey in his Ice Castle during the winter months chasing walleyes.
Sawyer Van Hecke
Lead Carpenter/ Project Manager
Sawyer has been in the construction business for over 10 years and with Hansen Hometech since 2015. His wide range of skills and commitment to quality makes him an asset for the Hansen Hometech team. He is relied upon when working with designers and subcontractors and has specialized in custom kitchens and bathrooms. Sawyer takes pride in communicating with homeowners through every step of the project, keeping them updated on important dates and milestones. Utilizing technology, and with a knack for problem solving, Sawyer has found creative solutions for homeowners when remodeling their dream spaces.
While not working you can find Sawyer enjoying time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys spending time with friends, hunting, fishing and helping out at the family farm in southern Minnesota.
Sharon Barker
Office Manager/Accountant
Sharon has been with Hansen Hometech since 2021 and is the behind-the-scenes support for our production team as well as the friendly voice you hear on the phone. Homeowners appreciate her acute attention to detail, and she is always happy to help explain the invoicing / payment process, ensuring the homeowner understands each step of their contract schedule along the way. With over 30 years of experience, her extensive background in business, accounting and HR has proven invaluable as Hansen Hometech continues to grow and solidify its place in the remodeling industry.
Sharon is an avid traveler and takes new adventures with her husband across the country (and the world!). She loves spending time with her two children, or hosting events for her friends. Free time is spent in her perennial gardens or taking walks in the neighborhood.
Our Story
In 1962, Doug Hansen started Hansen Hometech with the vision of building a business founded on integrity and trust. Generations later, Hansen Hometech still upholds these values in everything we do.
In 2019, Chanhassen Villager Newspaper recognized the Hansen family and Hansen Hometech on their front page.
